North Dakota Tourism urges tourists to enjoy the best of the state’s outdoor adventures, the start of golf season, and seasonal, locally produced eating in honor of the newly awakened landscape.
North Dakota, with its 13 state parks and famous national park sites, has the trails and outdoor experiences that truly showcase the season. Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP), located in the state’s western part, is home to 70,000 acres of vividly painted canyons and miles of green hiking trails in the North Dakota badlands. TRNP has a comprehensive trail system to suit all levels of experience, and visitors can enjoy a free entrance charge on April 16 to celebrate National Park Week.
